TDA Performing Arts is a dance school located in Benalla Victoria, and has been running dance classes for 30 years. TDA is recognised locally for its clean technique and its ability to instil a love for dance in each of its students. With large studio space and an air-conditioned facility, we here at TDA provide a safe, nurturing environment for all our students.  We offer classes ranging from Preschool to Adult in a wide variety of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, acrobatics, contemporary and competition teams. Each of our classes are taught by a certified, trained and passionate teachers who all aim to provide an inspiring, beneficial and educational experience for each student. 

 

At TDA Performing Arts we provide our students with the opportunity to undertake examinations through the Australian Teachers of Dancing syllabus. We offer examinations in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary and have been successful in achieving a 100% pass rate for all our classes. These examinations provide the students with the opportunity to refine their skills and technique in a fun rewarding experience! 

 

All our staff members are first aid trained and have a working with children's check.

We also have competition teams available for our invited students who work in their teams weekly, learning skills such as teamwork, cooperation and persistence. These students then represent our school at local  and state competitions all while making life long memories with their teammates. Some of these students are also invited to compete as a solo competitor and receive private coaching weekly. 

 

Here at TDA, we host an annual midyear and end of year show, where each class learns a routine that each student participates in and performs. Our concerts are a great way for the students to demonstrate what they have learnt throughout the year and to perform for their family and friends. TDA takes care of all the costumes so there is no sewing required!

TDA provides its students with multiple opportunities both within the local community and overseas, with our dancers having the opportunity to travel to America and other overseas tours.
